At Making Memories Guide Service, we love getting people out on the water and helping them make memories that last a lifetime. But some of our favorite memories come from what happens when we bring that crab back to our own community.
That’s why we’re excited to once again be part of something special with Warrenton High School!
Fresh Crab for Our Community
Not everyone has access to a boat, the equipment, or the opportunity to get out on the water and bring home fresh Dungeness crab. We believe that shouldn’t mean missing out on one of the best things our local waters have to offer.
Our community crab giveaway is about sharing the bounty and making fresh crab available to local residents who might not otherwise get the chance to enjoy it.
And the best part? The crab is free!
We love being able to share what we do with the community that supports us. It’s a simple idea with a big purpose: bringing people together over something we all love.
Supporting the Next Generation of Fisheries Biologists
This event is about more than crab.
Donations are welcome, and all donations go toward supporting Warrenton High School’s fisheries biology program and fish hatchery.
Programs like these give students opportunities to learn about aquatic ecosystems, fisheries, and the importance of caring for our local natural resources.
We love knowing that something as simple as sharing fresh crab can also help support students who are learning about the fisheries and waterways that make our corner of Oregon so special.
It’s a win for the community, a win for the students, and a great way to give something back.
