As we move toward the back half of September and into early October, we’re getting excited about another opportunity that makes a Columbia River fishing trip even better: coho salmon and Dungeness crab.
September and early October can be an amazing time to be on the water. The crowds of the early season begin to thin, the weather can be beautiful, and the combination of salmon fishing and fresh Dungeness crab makes for an unforgettable Northwest fishing experience.
Imagine starting the morning chasing hard-fighting coho salmon and then finishing the day pulling Dungeness crab pots.
